The CNET Asia has posted an article about digital cameras including Samsung's ST50.
There is something about slim shooters which always captures our attention. Perhaps it's the combination of stylish aesthetics and petite footprint. But the biggest advantage of such snappers is that they are extremely portable and can slip into your pocket without leaving a bulge. Hence, you can bring your point-and-shoot wherever you go and not worry that you'll miss a shot. One thing to note is that most of these cameras have a limited zoom range of 3x, but this is a small tradeoff for portability. Also, since the target audience of such shooters is the young and trendy crowd, they probably won't mind the zoom limitation.
Here are five slim cameras which not only look good, but boast a variety of advanced functions that can satisfy most shutterbugs.

1. | Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX1 First take For sleek and stylish cameras, the Sony Cyber-shot T series is one of the top choices in the market. Today, the Japanese electronics giant introduces a more powerful sub-category to this family of shooters. The 10.2-megapixel TX1 retains the same, slim profile of its siblings such as the T90, but this new model has a couple of nifty features which makes taking good pictures an easier task. Also, Sony used a new sensor, the Exmor R (first seen on the superzoom HX1), which claims to be twice as sensitive to light. How did it fare? Here are our early impressions. 2. | Canon Digital Ixus 100 IS CNET Asia rating: 7.2 out of 10 The good: Sleek styling; HD video function; decent image quality and performance. The bad: Lacks wide-angle optics; small form factor may not go down well with users having larger hands. The bottom line: This petite powerhouse is Canon's smallest ever Ixus camera and its stylish looks should resonate with those who want a capable and tiny point-and-shoot.
