Samsung WP10 Waterproof Camera
Here is a video clip showing the water proof feature of Samsung WP10 camera.
I purchased this product (WP10 a.k.a. AQ100) on May 21st 2010 and tested it for the first time on a swimming pool during my vacation May 23rd, after 1 hour of using it, the Lens and the LCD screen slowly showed moisture inside. The thing still shoots except that the shots are all white and blurred. I immediately dried the camera and removed the battery, to my surprise, droplets of water was present on the battery compartment and the memory card slot. Darn!! The pool is not even 3M deep coz I dunno how to swim…,I made sure the USB port and Battery compartment are both locked before i used it. I just brought it there to impress the crowd which happened but in the end I’m the biggest loser co’z my vacation which I’m trying to film and document in HD is ruined because of this camera that didnt live to its promise =(. I just returned yesterday (May 31st) from my 8-day vacation with crappy pics using just my cellphone camera. I’m really dissatisfied to the highest level and I’m going to return this product on weekend. I’ll see if Samsung will stand behind its products.
