Sungnyemun part2

A building was made of mechanical pencil leads. It is amazing. Followings are some pictures during the process of making the building. The pictures were taken by Samsung GX10 camera.

If you look closely, you can see that the wall at the side is different in thickness.

Installing stairs with the blessings of the square 2mm lead – praying for a world of more diverse leads as a mechanical pencil lead craftsman.

Everything went smoothly until the brick making stage. The last step – covering up with dirt – was tricky. So, I grinded the mechanical pencil lead and mixed it with water soluable glue and water and pasted.

Look at the piles of lead boxes used to make the architecture! Well.. not all of them were used though… maybe about a little more than half?

Material: Mechanical pencil lead (0.3mm, 0.5mm, 0.7mm, 0.9mm, 2.0mm)
LED bulb, glue, utility knife, ruler, etc…
Production period: 1 month
