Samsung HMX-R10 camcorder set for UK

Following is a short comment about Samsung's HMX-R10 camcorder from David Walker in UK.

The best things come in small packages.

It's been doing the rounds at various trade shows over the past few months, but now we know for sure that the Samsung HMX-R10 camcorder is coming to the UK.And it's a real beauty.
Claimed to be the smallest full HD (1080p) camcorder in existence, the HMX-R10 also doubles up as a more-than-impressive 12 megapixel camera, throwing in 5x optical zoom, a 2.7-inch flip-out touch screen and a quirky design that's sure to catch the eye.
The whole thing weighs just 229g too, so more power and less weight to your elbow. That design isn't some kind of frivolity either, with Samsung angling the lens so users 'can grip the camcorder in a more relaxed manner', resulting in less pressure on your wrist when filming. Nice to know they're thinking about us when they knock up these things.April is the launch date for Samsung HMX-R10 camcorder, with the price still to be confirmed. We'll guess it's not entry-level for sure.
