Samsung PL150: Samsung PL150: Chapter 6: El Ateneo Grand Splendid book store.

Following is a collection of photos taken by a Samsung PL150 (TL210) digital camera.

One of the highlights of Buenos Aires is this awesome book store.

On January 11^th 2008, the British newspaper The Guardian published a ranking with the most outstanding book stores in the world. El Ateneo Grand Splendid was ranked second.

The first five places on this list are the following:

1- Boekhandel Selexys Dominicanen [Maastricht, Holland]

2- El Ateneo Grand Splendid [Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Argentina]

3- Livraria Lello [Porto, Portugal]

4- Secret Headquarters [Los Angeles, USA]

5- Borders [Glasgow, Scotland]

There you can buy the book you always wanted, or you can grab one and sit down to read it. Kind of a library, but no… it’s a book store ;) You can also enjoy some live music while you drink a coffee and eat something.

And last but not least, the people who work there are the most friendly people ever. They surely help making this book store rank so high in the world.
