The winners of this year’s red dot award: Samsung Micro Sites

Following is an article about Red Dot Award.


Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. announced their micro sites of ST5500 (CL80) / ST5000 (TL240) cameras and HMX-M20 / SMX-C20 / SMX-C24 camcorders have been awarded communication design and promotion video each from red dot design award 2010.


With more than 12,000 submissions from more than 60 countries, the international “red dot design award” is the largest and most renowned design competition in the world. It is divided into the “red dot award: product design”, the “red dot award: communication design” and the “red dot award: design concept.” The award-winning products are put before an international public in the red dot design museum.


All award-winning works will be presented in the bilingual “international yearbook communication design 2010/2011”; additionally they will be featured in the winners’ exhibition at the red dot design museum and in the winners’ online exhibition at http://www.samsungimaging.net/2010/09/01/the-winners-of-this-years-red-dot-award-samsung-micro-sites/www.reddot.de


The ST5500(CL80)/ST5000(TL240)’s micro site launching April 19, 2010 provides not only products’ information but also its Story. On the micro site, users can ‘follow the codes’ with a man, and complete mission to know more about ST5500(CL80) and ST5000(TL240). (Click here to visit the micro site)


The HMX-M20/SMX-C20/SMX-C24’s micro site Launching February 11, 2010 shows some interesting tests with the camcorders. Tests were being conducted to examine the new and advanced features of Samsung HMX-M20, SMX-C20 and SMX-C24. (Click here to visit the micro site)
