Almost summer

Followings are images taken by a user of Samsung NX10 camera.

Much time has it been since my last entry. Lots of activities at home and at work and less time. Fortunately, summer is near – my favorite time of year.

Recently, I sent photos to the contest “Make a History” – the competition was tremendous, but some of my photos are among those selected!

Here you can check this selected http://makehistory.eu/2009/31386/prison/
The prize is an incredible 25.000 € but looking at the competition did not even dare think about winning. Anyway, keep your fingers crossed!!!

And here an interesting. The huge mural on one wall in Warsaw.

Via google translate:
“Kamień i Co” ( Stone and what) is an ambiguous slogan, a play on words ( in English is ‘Stone’ and ‘Waht’ or ‘Tenement house’, bearing in itself both a cry for memory and the question of the importance of the historical buildings of prewar Warsaw, still existing between modern skyscrapers. Also refers to the importance of time when Warsaw was lovingly rebuilt after the war. “Smooth, white wall, adorned with only the inscription, and a red balloon, it creates an interesting effect in comparison with the characteristic located next door block of settlements” Behind the iron gate. “Must visit a on the other side of the mural, where you can enjoy less flat house No. 14 was the most appropriate term for this view will probably “house – the specter.” The building is likely to soon disappear from the landscape Mirów, hence the location of the mural about this and no other transmission seems to be perfect.
