A good city in which to keep a camera in your pocket. Since getting my new PL150 I’ve pretty much kept it on me.
Of course I had to take a couple of shots of the bridge to start with, these are out of my car window at Blues Point. Must say that I like the wide angle function for the first shot.

While I was stuck in traffic I caught these two shots of a city building that I like. The front and back have quite a different flavour. Happy again with the fish eye, it was the only way to fit the front façade in without getting out of the car and causing more traffic mayhem for everyone, although on that day it most likely wouldn’t have mattered.

Whilst I was waiting for my son to finish school sport I captured these sea planes in the late afternoon sun at Rose Bay, with Syney tower in the background. I used the miniture effect to draw the eye in to centre frame.

I love these trees at Balmoral Beach on the North Shore of Sydney. Looking like something out of Avatar, they give something so rare and appreciated on Australia’s beaches – shade.

Once again taken from the car window whilst in traffic, here is a guy checking out the foot traffic on Oxford street in Darlinghurst. A highly recommended pastime for all who appreciate the human form, you should see what he is looking at!

Here is the bridge again, bit of an interesting angle. Also the gut workings under the bridge, a less advertised side of the national icon. I was waiting for an appointment in the area so had a poke around under the bridge and was surprised to find it inhabited by a gritty urban gang of bunnies!

Off road vehicles are still very popular in Australia, so much so that councils in certain areas of high 4WD ownership have seemingly found it neccecary to erect signage that regular car owners may find…odd? This one at the North Curl Curl Beach car park. Possibly my favorite surf beach in Sydney.
